Southern Comfort Oxtail & Grits

A rich and savory Southern staple with bold flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 lbs oxtails (prepared using Southern Comfort Oxtail Mix)
  • 1 cup stone-ground grits
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions:

  1. Prepare oxtails using Southern Comfort Oxtail Mix.
  2. In a pot, bring milk and water to a boil, then slowly stir in grits.
  3. Cook on low for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in butter and cheese until creamy.
  5. Serve oxtails over the grits with a drizzle of the oxtail gravy.
