
Sweet Potato Pie Beignets
Fluffy fried pastries with a warm sweet potato filling.
What You Need:
- ¼ the bag of Southern Belle Sweet Potato Pie Filling Mix (about ¼ cup)
- Sweet Potatoes (Fresh or Canned):
- Fresh: 1 medium sweet potato (about ½ pound cooked & mashed)
- Canned: ¾ of a 15-ounce can, drained & mashed
- Fresh: 1 medium sweet potato (about ½ pound cooked & mashed)
- 1 pack refrigerated biscuit dough
- Oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
- Flatten biscuit dough and place 1 tbsp of sweet potato filling in the center.
- Fold and seal edges.
- Heat oil to 350°F and fry until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
